On June 20, 2004, the Russian community of Boston organized a march and rally called "Boston for Israel." Despite many attempts by pro-Palestinian activists, anti-Zionist Orthodox Jews, and neo-nazis to protest and impede both the walk and the rally, more than a thousand Israel supporters paritcipated in this event.
